Loss and Grief Counselling
Grief doesn't move in a straight line, and there's no "right" way to be doing it — whether you're weeks or years into a loss, or the grief has caught up with you unexpectedly.
What this can look like
The death of someone close to you. A loss that others don't fully recognise: a miscarriage, a pet, a friendship, a version of the future you'd imagined. Feeling stuck, numb, or like you should be "over it" by now when you're not. Grief that resurfaces around anniversaries or big life events
How I can help
I offer a space to grieve without a timeline or a script, to feel whatever comes up without being rushed through it. We'll work at your pace, making sense of the loss and finding a way to carry it that doesn't mean leaving it, or the person, behind.
1
Is it too soon / too late to get grief counselling?
Neither. Some people come in the first weeks; others years later, when grief resurfaces. There's no wrong time.
2
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions gives them tools they need; others prefer ongoing, deeper work. We'll talk about what feels right for you as we go.
3
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes! Alongside face-to-face sessions in Chiswick, I work with clients online across the UK and beyond, in English or Italian.
4
What if my loss isn't a death?
Grief applies to any significant loss — a relationship, a pregnancy, a job, an identity, a future you expected. All of it is welcome here.
