Life can be overwhelming - whether you're struggling with an unwanted change, a painful loss, feeling consumed by anxiety or finding it hard to manage anger that seems to come from nowhere.
Whatever you're facing, therapy offers a space where you don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
As a counsellor specialising in loss and anxiety, I'm here to help you work through those feelings, gain clarity on recurrent patterns and develop personalised strategies to bring a sense of calm, stability and self empowerment.
You're not alone, and change is possible
My counselling private practice is based in Chiswick (W4 - West London) and I also practice Online, both in English and Italian.

What I can help you with:
-
Anxiety and Overwhelm - including coping with negative feelings and thoughts, stress, intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, depression, chronic illnesses and death anxiety
-
Grief and loss - bereavement, break-ups, life transition, fertility issues, pregnancy loss, abortion
-
Relating to yourself and others - low self-esteem, shame, guilt, anger management and relationship challenges
My greatest strength lies in my ability to meet people where they truly are, both in their feelings and thoughts. Many clients have expressed profound relief in feeling seen and validated during our sessions.
Clients often appreciate the learning experience I provide. Through mutual interaction and psychoeducation, they gain a deeper understanding of how they relate to themselves, others, and the world around them. They develop awareness of their thought and behavioral patterns while learning new strategies to cope and heal.
How we'll work together
We’ll begin by exploring your current situation, personal history and relationships, to understand what’s contributing to how you feel today. From there, we’ll decide together whether to focus on practical coping strategies or a deeper exploration of underlying patterns and beliefs.
Throughout our work, I aim to help you build emotional awareness, self-compassion and tools for everyday resilience — while also making sense of how your past may still shape your present. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we’ll regularly reflect on your progress and evolving needs.

“You project such safety — I’ve learned not just from your insights, but from the way you listen.” (Alex, 25)

"Talking with you is the one time in my week where I feel truly listened to" (Adam, 58)

"It’s been a pleasure to talk to you, Irene. The ease I felt trusting and opening up to you is a testament to your skills as a therapist" (Caterina, 32)
