Anxiety Counselling
If your mind won't switch off, or worry has started running the show, that exhaustion is real. It's one of the most common reasons people come to see me.
You don't have to be in crisis for it to be worth talking about.
What Anxiety can look like
Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. For some it's constant background worry that never quite lifts. For others it's panic attacks, intrusive thoughts, difficulty sleeping or a low mood that's crept in alongside it. Sometimes it's tied to something specific, like health anxiety, a diagnosis, a big life decision, and sometimes it doesn't seem to have a clear cause at all
How I can help
Together, we'll work on understanding what's driving your anxiety. Not just managing the symptoms, but getting curious about where it comes from. From there, we build practical tools to feel calmer day to day, alongside the deeper work of loosening anxiety's grip long-term.
1
How do I know if what I'm feeling counts as "anxiety"?
There's no threshold you need to hit. If worry, panic or unease is affecting your daily life, sleep, or relationships, it's worth exploring — whether or not it fits a clinical picture.
2
How many sessions will I need?
It varies. Some people find a handful of sessions gives them tools they need; others prefer ongoing, deeper work. We'll talk about what feels right for you as we go.
3
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes! Alongside face-to-face sessions in Chiswick, I work with clients online across the UK and beyond, in English or Italian.
4
How do I understand if you are the right therapist for me?
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if it's your first time. That's exactly why I offer a free initial call with no obligation... just a conversation to see if I'm the right person to help.
